And We've Reached a Year

 Time Flies When You're Not Having Much Fun

One year... I guess I shouldn't be surprised we're at that point. The project won't be done in 2016 either. I don't know why I thought it wouldn't take this long. The San Antonio one was a lot faster but needed much less done. Anyway, on with the mid-November updates!

Couple of things going on here - we decided to go from three LED strips to two. The third one went to the closet near the mirror. It's really for the better because it simplifies things in the bathroom and gives some pretty decent lighting to that room.

The odd looking tiles on the wall are samples we didn't go with. I needed to put something back there and didn't want to use the marble. It'll be covered by a mirror anyway and if it isn't sometime later... oops.

It's crazy how much of a difference just having a bathroom mirror makes!

There's nothing wrong with your eyes - the tile is now grouted. I wanted to get all of this done before the countertops and glass go in... which will hopefully be this year? Kinda running out of 2016 at this point.

 

And Now for Something That's Not Tile...

Hey look, something that isn't tile! Bathroom countertops are delayed because they put holes for the faucets in the vanity in the wrong places so let's mess with the media closet. This is half of what used to be a very long closet with an opening at one end. Great for storing things you never want to be able to get at without removing everything else that was in front of it, terrible for being an actual closet.

Much better! Lighting, shelves, pretty much what you need if you want to store music, games, and movies.

That'll round out the middle of November. Still hoping for countertops and being done by the end of the year but no promises
